Slimbox is delighted to announce that we have been selected to be recognized for our work in innovation and sustainability at the Love Tomorrow Summit on July 24th 2025, a leadership festival exploring ideas and solutions for a sustainable future across diverse fields–from AI, to the health industry, to fashion.

The Love Tomorrow Summit has selected 17 startups to represent the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) adopted by the United Nations in 2015. Slimbox was selected to represent SDG 12: responsible consumption and production. Slimbox aims to reduce waste and cut carbon emissions by creating perfectly fitted packaging for every shipment. Our packaging solution reduces parcel volume by 40%, prevents damages to products, and eliminates the need for wasteful packaging filler, which reduces costs and optimizes the resources required to package and ship products, including fuel. With better fitting packaging, we can avoid up to 122 million tons of CO2 emissions worldwide and reduce our consumption of paper, plastic, and other materials used in the packaging process.
Our CEO Filip Roose will be there to give a talk. Filip, along with his father Rik ‘McGyver’ Roose and his brother Kristof, has spearheaded the effort to make the world a better place with cutting-edge technology, one box at a time, since taking on the role of CEO in 2015. In the last 10 years, Filip has taken Slimbox from an idea to a startup that helps customers choose the more sustainable option in consumption and production. We are excited to be recognized as a Startup of Tomorrow. We hope to see you there.
