As a Valentine's example, we create an elegant box, to send a bottle of bubbles in an original, creative and personal way.
We do want to keep it practical and easy to handle, so with a standard shipping box Fefco 427. To stay in the Valentines-theme we cut out a heart, just because we can.
The Champaign-bottle must also be safely & elegant packed. So, we quickly created a product specific inlay. In this case, the contour of the bottle of cava must be cut out in the exact right dimensions to prevent it from breaking.
To finish it off, we etch a cool heart shaped drawing on the inlay.
By the way, did you know that you can not only link our Slimbox to your own company-specific software via an API? So you can automate your packaging, but also packaging personalization through your web-portal if you want.
In this case, we add the recipient's first name, but the same can be done for company logos, slogans or even "written text."
HOW can you upgrade your unpacking experience?
Our Slimbox Software creates for you the right "dielines", based on the dimensions of the products you want to pack and the thickness of the cardboard you want to use.
In this case, we are using a Fefco 427, the most commonly used shipping box made out of brown E-flute kraftliner corrugated, with a thickness of 1.7 mm.
Export the obtained dielines from our Slimbox software to Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw or Inkscape (a professional free graphic software) to add your own design elements. Depending on the color you use for your lines, the Slimbox will cut, create a fold line or etch a drawing. Simple and fast.
Personal adjustments to the design can then be easily exported as an SVG file, compatible with our Slimbox solution.
